Dynamic, Enthusiastic Speech and Language Therapist Wanted
Would you like to be part of something big, making a difference to children with special needs and their families? We are looking for a motivated, passionate Speech and Language Therapist to join our team.
It is anticipated that this role will begin in June/July 2010, with therapists being able to select from a 4 day working week or 5 day working week option. Applicants will be supported in their application, validation, visa and relocation. No agency is required.
Our speech and language therapists:
- Provide direct assessment and intervention of children with a variety of special needs, including language disorders, articulation deficits, pragmatic/semantic issues, Autistic Spectrum Disorders/Asperger’s Syndrome, hearing impairments, oral dyspraxia, academic difficulties etc.
- Provide support for families of children with special needs
- Provide training and support for teachers of children with special needs
- Support and supervise junior therapists and therapy assistants
- Integrate with a dynamic, motivated team of therapists and support staff
- Carry out support and admin duties related to the role
Requirements:

An appropriate degree in speech and language therapy, validated by the department of Health and Children, Ireland*

Experience in working as a speech and language therapist

A driver’s License and Car will be required
*Therapists are encouraged to apply even if they do not have validation as ATLAS Training will provide support through the application process for validation and work permits.
